COMMENT ON GREENWOLFE 1962 By Alison Cassidy
"Wolfey has an impeccable ear for poetry. His poems are invariably traditional in form (I happen to know he hates 'free verse) and his poetic structure is always immaculate. His subjects (I've not read everything yet) are philosophical, personal, and occasionally comic and his poems always leave the reader a sense of comfortable cadence. Some might (unkindly) argue that he tends toward a 'Hallmark Greeting card' style, but Wolfey, interestingly might be quite flattered by such a comparision. A man who knows his mind and declares it with honesty and diplomacy, I applaud his place in the PoemHunter collection. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ "-------Alison Cassidy
